About project
This project was created by Christian Escutia Durán (alias Frostem), with the goal of applying fuzzy systems in the field of cognitive skill development, specifically concentration and coordination, through platformer video games.
The work was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Joel Tapia Flores, recognized for his contributions to teaching through computational intelligence.
Developed as an academic project by a student of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Sur de Guanajuato (ITSUR), it explores new applications of computational intelligence in playful and educational environments.
Premise: The player progresses at their own pace, developing coordination and precision. To prevent stress and abandonment, the game adjusts its difficulty depending on how frustrated the player is coming out of a level. This “frustration level” is measured primarily by the time invested in each stage.
